Don’t let the sporting part fool you, this day starts early, but finishes late and is all about the good times.
It’s London’s biggest day this side of summer. A day of team sports, entertainment and live music featuring the headliners Dune Rats. There’s an always busy bar serving beer, cider, wine from Australia, New Zealand and afar, gourmet snacks (or just regular festival fare if thats more your style), and a tuck shop store selling all the classics from home that you’ve been pining over.
This is the place where the down under diaspora gets together for a chance to bump and mingle with like-minded expats. They’re fielding teams in rugby and league, netball, social mixed dodgeball, touch footy and try tag rugby for those who want to get active and dazzle the opposition. But don’t worry if weekend sports aren’t your thing — there’s plenty of opportunity for you to excel on the sidelines.
