**Successful Visa Guarantee – if you have a British or European passport you can opt to exclude this.

**Job Assistance – we promise to get you working within two weeks, you can choose one or several employment sectors

**Accommodation and Airport Transfer – Who wants to haul suitcases at 6am on public transport during rush hour? A proviate tax will collect you from the airport and take you to one of Londons Best Hostels.

Lastly, don’t forget that we are a twice winner of the Best Customer Service award and three-time winner of Best Support Service at the British Travel Awards – we not only know what we are doing but we care! We use 4 or 6 bedded and female only sex dorms. You can also add on additional nights, as to be fair, 3 nights is only just going to give you enough time to recover from the flight!

  • Door To Door Airport Transfer

If the thought of arriving into the busiest airport in the world is not one you’re overjoyed at then you’ll love the concept of being chauffeur driven directly to your accommodation! Forget the Underground rush hour, escalators, steps and suitcase dragging - this is about chilling out in the back seat and enjoying the sights of your new city from air conditioned comfort. You’ll be met at the airport and taken directly to your accommodation.

  • Oyster Travel Card

Oyster is the cheapest way to pay for single journeys on bus, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London. This is a plastic re-useable smartcard that not only gives you access to the cheaper fares but it is so much easier than queuing for paper tickets.  You can put Travelcards, Bus & Tram passes or keep topping up with ‘pay as you go’ credit.

  • £10 Preloaded Credit For Your Oyster Card

To go with your Oyster card we are including £10 credit that will be pre-loaded onto your card. If you are hitting the Underground as soon as you arrive at Heathrow you can use this card to get into the city centre. It is also valid on overground trains within the Greater London area. If you want to add more than £10 you can either do this through your BritBound Portal or at any station when you get to the UK.

(Your Oyster Card will be posted to you before you leave, provided you have a minimum of 6 weeks before departure).

  • Choice of UK SIM Card

All of our packages include a UK SIM Card and we provide your number straight away so you can give it out to your family, friends and any employers or recruitment agencies even before you leave. Being contactable from the word go is a huge benefit especially when it comes to getting work here, plus your nearest and dearest will be relieved to know they can get hold of you once you’ve arrived and turned your phone on.

All of our SIMs are from mainstream network providers (Three and 02). There are a whole host of SIM brands that piggy back off these networks – trouble is many are here today, gone tomorrow brands which look like great deals but are actually riddled with hidden charges and fees. If you are looking to live and work here for an extended period you'll need a UK based phone network with great coverage and competitive data offerings.

  • £10 Credit For Your UK SIM

Your SIM card will come pre-loaded with £10 credit so that you can arrive in the UK with a SIM Card that can be used to make calls straightaway. You will be able to use your SIM as soon as you touch down in the UK - don’t forget to unblock your handset so that you can add the SIM. (Your SIM and Credit Voucher will be posted to you before you leave, provided you have a minimum of 6 weeks before departure).

  • Overseas Postage Of Your SIM & Oyster Card

To really help you ‘Hit The Ground Running’ we will post out to you your SIM & Oyster card so that you can use these as soon as you land in the UK. If you are travelling from Heathrow then you can use your Oyster card to get into and around London. There will need to be at least 6 weeks before you depart to give us enough time for this to reach you. If you have less than 6 weeks then you can collect these when you come along to the Arrival Info Party.

  • A Phone Call From Our London Team

Nothing beats hearing it from the horses mouth, so to speak! We will arrange a time to call and take you through all the in's and out's of your membership, as well as go over the main stages in your move here.

There is always something incredibly reassuring in talking to someone who understands where you’re coming from. Whether you have a million and one questions or just want to hear about how amazing this experience is going to be, then this call will do just that! This phonecall is a great opportunity to get advice, guidance, ideas and inspiration.

FAQS

  • **** ABOUT YOUR BRITBOUND MEMBERSHIP ****

  • How soon can I join BritBound?

You can join BritBound at any time. But if you are looking to include visa assistance then you will need to make sure you leave enough time for your visa. Ideally start your visa application around 6 months before you intend to arrive and no later than 2 months. Although there is a fast-track service you can purchase but this would mean paying more money to the UK Government for your visa application!
  • I've left everything to the last minute - can I still join?

Ha! How many times have we heard this?!! Yes, of course. Our system is very well automated which means you can get everything sorted as soon as you join and head to your MyBritBound page.
  • What happens once I join?

When you join you then create log in details which you will use to access your MyBritBound area - this is essentially where all the action happens. Each service included in your package can be organised through your MyBritBound Portal. • ********* OPENING A BANK ACCOUNT ***************

    ****************************************************************
  • Can I open a bank account before I arrive in the UK?

You will need to be in the UK to open an account. We offer two choices - either an account with one of the High Street Banks (HSBC etc) or an E-Bank. Both options will give you an account within an hour.
  • Who does BritBound have partnerships with?

Over the years BritBound has enjoyed partnerships with all the big four banks. Such partnerships mean that we are able to act as an introducer which means you will not have to provide proof of a UK address or proof of employment. You can read about all of our banking partners in your MyBritBound portal and from here make your selection.
  • I have heard I need proof of UK address to open an bank account, is this true?

In most cases this would be true but with our partnerships, BritBound acts as an introducer which means that our bank partners will not ask you to provide this. With some of our accounts you will need to provide a document showing your address in your home country. This document cannot also be used as ID, so a drivers licence is ideal here. If you do not have a drivers licence or it does not have your address on it then we suggest asking your bank to send a paper transaction statement in the mail to you. Bring both the envelope and the statement.
  • I do not have a secure UK address to have my bank card sent to, what should I do?

You will need to provide a secure address as the banks will not post mail to any address they deem unsecured, such as hostels or hotels. BritBound offers a mail holding and forwarding service which you can sign up to for either two months or four months.
  • Do I have to be in the UK for a certain amount of time to qualify for a bank account?

The main high street banks will require a minimum of 12 months for you to qualify for one of their bank accounts. However we also work with some challenger banks who have no minimum stay.
  • Will I be able to apply for a credit card when I am in the UK?

Initially probably not. You first need to build a credit rating and this can take 3-6 months.
  • ******* ABOUT THE SIM AND OYSTER CARD *******

  • Will I have a choice of phone networks to choose from?

Yes, we are always looking to see who the best providers are. We only work with the main UK major carrier networks. We don't offer any of the piggy back phone networks such as Lebara, Lyca, Globalgig or Worldsim who lease wireless telephone and data from major carriers for resale.
  • How will I know the rates for making calls and using data?

We have published these in your MyBritBound portal.
