What's Included
Included in the rent is all bills - council tax, electric, gas, water, tv and tv licence and the internet.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, it is required you pay a deposit to secure a room. While the cost of the deposit is usually the equivalent of one month's rent, BritBounders only have to pay half price if you organise while overseas!
What is the minimum time I can be a tenant for?
Normally the minimum contract sign up is for 3 months however with BritBound, you can commit to a minimum of 6 weeks.
Can I pre-book or reserve rooms in advance?
Absolutely! In fact this is the best way to do it. If you reserve a room in advance you save 50% on the deposit and you don't have to deal with the stress of finding accommodation once you arrive.
How much notice do I have to give?
Arrive Homes requires 2 months notice to vacate a room. If you need to relocate closer to work you can often move to a different Arrive Homes property before your notice period, dependent on availability.
Do they rent to couples?
You can rent a room as a couple. However there is a rule that only one couple is allowed per household -- you can see on their availability listings whether or not the room is suitable for a couple.
Can I extend my stay?
Absolutely, if you would like to extend your stay past the agreed upon contract simply contact arrive homes.
